In short: we collect only what you send us, we use it only to reply to you, and this website uses no cookies.

At Novkov Visuals, accessible via https://novkov.com, the privacy of our visitors is one of our main priorities. This Privacy Policy explains which information Novkov Visuals collects, why, and what your rights are.

2. Personal Data We Collect
We don't collect any of your data by default. We only receive personal data when you decide to contact us:
- Enquiry forms: your name, your email address, your message and, if you add it, your phone or WhatsApp number. By sending the form you agree that we use these details to reply to you; there's no box to tick.
- Job applications (the careers page): your name, email, the role, your school or current work, your availability, a link to your work or CV, and your message.
- Email, phone and WhatsApp: whatever you send us that way.
3. Use of Your Personal Data
The personal data you provide is used only for the purpose you provided it for: to reply to your enquiry, to prepare a quote, and to carry out the work if you book us. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our contract with you (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for their own purposes.
When you send a form, we automatically send you a short confirmation email. To keep the forms free of spam, the server checks the email address and the sender's IP address against the public StopForumSpam database (stopforumspam.org), and keeps a short technical log of form submissions (date, name, email and the result of the checks) for about two months.
We keep enquiries and the related emails as long as we need them for the conversation and the job, and for as long as Hungarian accounting and tax rules require for the documents of a completed job.
Job applications
We use applications only to consider you for work with us, now or later, based on your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). We keep them for up to 12 months, then delete them. You can ask us to delete your application earlier at any time.
4. Data Protection
We are committed to ensuring the security of your data and take reasonable precautions to protect it from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. The website runs on SiteGround's servers in the European Union; our email is hosted by Google Workspace. These providers process data on our behalf and under their own data protection terms.
5. Your Rights
As a data subject, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or limit the use of your personal data, to object to its use, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hungarian data protection authority, the Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság (NAIH, naih.hu).
6. Cookies Policy
This website uses no cookies and stores nothing on your device to track you.
Visit statistics. We count visits with our own small counter on our own server: which page was viewed, the name of the website you came from, how long the page was on screen, and clicks on the WhatsApp and "show email" buttons. It stores no IP addresses and sets no cookies. To count unique visitors per day, it uses a code made from a one-way hash of your IP address and browser, with a random value that is replaced every day, so visits can't be linked from one day to the next. This is based on our legitimate interest in understanding how our website is used (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
Server logs. Like every web server, our hosting provider keeps standard access logs (IP address, date, the page requested and your browser type) for security and troubleshooting, for about 30 days.
Videos from YouTube. Nothing from YouTube loads until you press play on one of our YouTube videos. Then the video loads from youtube-nocookie.com, and Google's own privacy policy applies.
Google Analytics and Google Ads. We may occasionally use Google Analytics and Google Ads to understand how visitors find us. If we do, a small bar asks for your consent first, and nothing from Google loads unless you press "Accept". You can change your mind at any time by clearing this website's data in your browser.
Booking calendar. The videography consulting booking calendar opens on Calendly's website, where Calendly's privacy policy applies.
